The idea of Scrapista has been around for long time. I’ve been scrapping, taking classes and workshops, attending events and dabbling in all sorts of artistic endeavors for years. During all of that time I’ve tried to discover what artistic time/retreats/workshops really need to meet my needs. The kicker is…those ideas are not the same for everyone. Some people want classes every minute of every day, some want a day of relaxation without a care in the world. Some want to sit and focus like mad on their current project and some just want to social. I’m right aren’t I? That’s what Scrapista is all about – creating a workshop, class or retreat environment that works for everyone.
Our hope is to encourage you to not just capture the images of your life, but to also capture the emotion and background of those images. To build relationships with others who share common interests, to extend yourself beyond your own circle and broaden your horizons.
